While I thoroughly enjoy being your youth pastor, I also do some hymn-writing on the side. This Sunday we’ll be singing, for the first time, a hymn that I wrote not too long ago. I’m calling it A Mighty Fortress Is Our God, and I think the tune will be familiar to most of you. Looking forward to singing this with you all!

Book recommendation
George Marsden recently published a biography of my life, and I’d like to take a moment to say that I appreciate his efforts, and that I highly recommend this book if you really want to know more about my life and times. In fact, I learned quite a bit about myself while I was reading it this past week.
